News & Articles 115 entrants at the 2022 Historic Acropolis Rally’s start
The starting ceremony of the Historic Acropolis Rally 2022, in the shadow of the Acropolis this Saturday morning (4/6), will welcome 102 crews and 13 motorcycle riders on the rally’s grat return to the international motorsport scene.
In detail, 36 crews of the Sporting category and 4 of the Legends category will participate in the Rally’s 11 Special Stages (six on Saturday 4/6 and five on Sunday 5/6), and their 149,61 kilometers in total.
The 2022 Historic Acropolis Regularity Rally will see 62 crews and 13 motorcycle riders competing for top honours. Among the first are 8 international crews, as the competitors will cover 18 tests – ten on the first day and eight on the second.
Before Saturday’s overnight stay at the port of Itea, Central Greece, the crews will compete at their respective night test; the famous “Karoutes” Special Stage for the Sporting category, and the test at the mountains around the city for the Regularity crews and riders.
Like Saturday’s start under the Parthenon, the finish ceremony on Sunday afternoon (5/6 at 19:00) at the Zappeion Megaron of Athens will be common for all the competitors of the Historic Acropolis Rally 2022. You can see the Entry List for the events of each category on the links below:
